Abstract: An anti-fouling covering is applied to a tubular offshore structure to prevent fouling tubular goods by marine growth. The covering comprises metal sheeting which is deformed to provide spaced ridges or troughs which extend on the covering in the axial direction of the tubular goods. The deformations facilitate expansion and contraction of the covering but, especially when inwardly directed trough form, enable the covering to have substantially smooth exterior so that loading due to wave impingement can be reduced.
