Abstract: A device for adjustable attachment of a strap includes an injection moulded element forming an aperture therein. A cross bar forms an integral part of the element and extends across the aperture. An injection moulded plate has an opening and is integral with two spring legs diverging from an edge of the plate. The plate is mounted in the element which forms a cover at one side of the plate, and is displaceable in the element with the free ends of the spring legs engaging the element to bias an edge of the opening, substantially parallel to the cross bar, against a strap passed around the cross bar.

Abstract: Buckle for a safety belt, particularly a children's belt, comprising a buckle housing (10) and a lock tongue (13) constructet to be connected each to one strap part. The lock tongue is insertable into a guide (15) in the buckle housing which has a latch member (19) spring biased to lockingly engage the inserted lock tongue, and an opening member (20) to be operated manually for switching the latch member from an engaged position to a disengaged position against the spring bias, said two members consisting of one and the other, respectively, limb of a U-shaped element (17) which is pivotally mounted in the buckle housing (10) to switch about a transverse axis (21) with the limbs extending along the guide (15) towards the insertion opening (12) for the lock tongue (13) which at the insertion into the buckle housing can be pushed in between the limbs.

Abstract: In a safety buckle having a frame with a latch mechanism and a tongue plate which is insertable into the frame to be latched therein, said tongue plate forms a pin for a strap fitting to be passed thereonto and thus be connected with the buckle when the tongue plate is latched in the frame.

Abstract: Lock for safety belts, comprising a lock housing enclosing a lock mechanism having a release member for manual operation, and a member of lock tongues which can be inserted into the lock housing for co-operation with the lock mechanism. The lock mechanism comprises a number of lock plates one for each lock tongue, which are mounted in the lock housing for rotation about a common axis and each form an abutment for the associated lock tongue and a hook for retaining locking engagement with the lock tongue and are spring-biased to be engaged with the lock tongue against the spring bias when the lock tongue is inserted into the lock housing to be engaged with the abutment, an arresting element which can be actuated manually to be engaged with each lock plate to arrest temporarily the lock plate in the engaged position, and a latch member which is spring-biased to engage the lock plates when all lock plates are arrested in the engaged position, to retain permanently the lock plates in said position.

Abstract: Lock for safety belts, comprising a lock housing and a lock tongue which can be inserted into the lock housing. The lock tongue is displaceably mounted on a support element and is spring-biased to a withdrawn position, the lock tongue being normally displaceable to a projected position against the spring bias, a latch member engaging the lock tongue in the withdrawn position thereof to prevent displacement of the lock tongue to the projected position. A fitting for a strap can be passed onto the lock tongue in the withdrawn position thereof, said fitting engaging the latch member to release the lock tongue for displacement to the projected position against the spring bias.

Abstract: Machine for crushing cylindrical aluminium cans for beer, soft drinks etc. The machine comprises a can intake. A craddle for receiving the can in a substantially horizontal position is displacable between a receiving position in the can intake and a crushing position in a press device for squeezing the cans axially between the end walls thereof. The displacement of the craddle between said position is effected by displacement of a closure member for the can intake between opened and closed positions. A perforated sloping plane is arranged below the press device for receiving the crushed can falling down from the press device at the return movement thereof after crushing, and diverting the crushed can to a collecting container.

Abstract: A strap tightener including means to lock an operating lever in a rest position adjacent to an anchoring element for fixedly anchoring the strap tightener.Said means include a hook projecting from a driving pawl on the operating lever for receiving, in the rest position of the operating lever, a holding pawl on the anchoring element.
