The light access portion is disposed between the circuit board and the locking surface, and the circuit board is disposed between the first surface and the light access portion.

Abstract: An ink set for ink-jet recording includes a dye ink containing a water-soluble dye and water and a pigment ink containing a self-dispersible pigment and water; wherein the dye ink further contains a polymer having a lactam structure; and the pigment ink further contains a substance having a surface active ability, a blending amount of the substance having the surface active ability being set in a ratio to fulfill a condition that a line width of a one-dot line is not less than 115 ?m when an amount of one liquid droplet of the pigment ink to be discharged is set to be within a range of 22 pL to 28 pL and the one-dot line is printed on a regular paper sheet.

Abstract: A display apparatus includes a reading and display device configured to read contents selected based on instructions from a nonvolatile portable storage device that can rewrite storage content and is removable, and to cause a display device to display the contents; a display switching device configured to switch a page of the contents being displayed by the display device based on the instructions; and a storage control device configured to cause the portable storage device to store display page information indicating the page displayed immediately before an end of a display of the selected contents, in correspondence with the contents, at a predetermined timing. The reading and display device reads the display page information corresponding to the selected contents from the portable storage device, and causes the display device to display the page indicated by the display page information.

Abstract: An ink-jet head comprises a passage unit with an ink passage formed therein and a branching passage unit, and is constructed by laminating the passage unit and the branching passage unit with each other. The ink passage extends from a common ink chamber for supplying ink to a pressure chamber toward a nozzle. The branching passage unit includes an ink branching passage for branching ink from an ink introduction port to ink outlet ports. The outlet ports leads out ink into the passage unit. Inlet ports for introducing ink into the common ink chamber are formed on a surface of the passage unit. Ink outlet ports in the branching passage unit are disposed so as to face the inlet ports. Filters for removing foreign matters mixed in ink are formed in the ink branching passage within the branching passage unit.

Abstract: A print system capable of exchanging data in the form of electronic mail between a plurality of computer systems using very low-cost communication via the Internet 28, rather than one-on-one communication. When the printer driver 30 of a personal computer 4 selects a personal computer 10 on another computer system as the destination for transmitting print data, the printer driver 30 and the print mail transmission utility 31a create print mail in which a mail header including print information is added to the print data for the contents of the mail, and the print mail is transmitted via the Internet 28 addressed to the personal computer 10. The print mail reception utility 31b of the personal computer 10 receives the print mail and prints the print mail on a printer 14 based on the print information included in the mail header.
