  • Patent number: 10471635
Abstract: For manufacturing composite parts (1) having an inner hollow moulded body (2) with openings (3), which are accessible from outside, the moulded body is introduced into a moulding tool on the mould walls on which a shell layer (11) was applied. The hollow space between the moulded body (2) and the shell layer (11) is filled with a thermally insulating plastic foam (12) which is foamed in the moulding tool and bonds to the moulded body and the shell layer. After removal, a moulded body is provided, which has a qualitatively good surface formed by the shell layer. Such a composite part is preferably used for connecting thermally insulating pipes.

  • Patent number: 10220551
Abstract: The invention relates to a corrugated, thermally insulated conduit for fluids, e.g. for district heating networks, wherein at least one medium pipe (2) made of plastic or metal is surrounded by a thermal insulation layer (14), consisting of a polyurethane foam for example. The corrugation (25, 26) of the outer jacket (15) made of plastic is formed such that both the corrugation valleys (25) and the corrugation peaks (26) are round, particularly circular. In addition, the corrugation is dimensioned such that the corrugation depth T lies in a range of 4.5 mm to 8 mm for a conduit outer diameter range of 63 mm to 202 mm. This shaping and dimensioning of the conduit results in very good flexibility and thus the ability to roll up the pipe for the transport thereof.

  • Patent number: 9651177
Abstract: A coupling connection for corrugated pipes includes a coupling element, a support ring which is attachable in a positive fit against an inner wall face of the corrugated pipe, a first annular element which is axially fixable on a circumferential face of the corrugated pipe, a portion of the corrugated pipe being enclosed between the support ring and the first annular element and being fixable axially immovably, and an annular sealing chamber, enclosed circumferentially in a transition region between the support ring and the corrugated pipe, receiving a sealing element, on which a deformation force acts in a functional position which is fixable using a fixing element, including a second annular element, which circumferentially encloses the coupling element and is circumferentially attachable and movable in translation with respect thereto, the first annular element and the second annular element being arranged mutually coaxially.

  • Patent number: 9416910
Abstract: In order to connect a connection piece (10), which is, for example, a pipe coupling or a mounting or a fitting, to a thermally insulated conduit pipe (1), a clamping sleeve (9) with an internal thread (8) is screwed in between the internal pipe (2) of the conduit pipe and the insulation layer (3) of the conduit pipe. A connection body (11) with a plug sleeve (13) is arranged in the internal pipe beforehand. The clamping sleeve (9) acts indirectly on the connection piece (10) by way of a retaining ring (14) in order to press the connection piece against the end face (5) of the internal pipe (2). In this way, the distance between the insulation layer (3) and the casing (4) of the conduit pipe is dispensed with and inaccuracies when cutting the conduit pipe to length can be compensated.

  • Patent number: 8950071
Abstract: During the manufacturing of heat-insulated pipes (1) with an inner duct (3) and an outer duct (2) and a foamed insulation (14) arranged in between, the inner duct is placed on a tension member (10). The latter is tensioned between tensioning means by means of a tensile force, such that it runs straight and that the inner duct is held straight. The latter is held on centering elements (16, 17) which are spaced from one another in a defined way by means of spacers (18). In this straight position the inner duct may be surrounded with foam inside of the outer duct, without needing spacers between the ducts.

  • Publication number: 20110308659
Abstract: A thermally insulated conduit pipe (22) is produced in that an inner pipe (2), onto which an outer pipe (13) has been extruded and which is enclosed by foam, is worked downstream of the extruder (12) with molding tools (16-21) in order to achieve deep undulation. This results in a conduit pipe having a small bending radius.
