Abstract: A method for treating objects with at least one treatment agent in a household device includes operating a first part of an identification system to identify data of a second part of the identification system, the data of the second part of the identification system comprising information on the composition or an active parameter of a treatment agent or a dosing device. The data of the second part of the identification system is associated with packaging for the treatment agent or the dosing device such that reference can be had thereto for locating the data of the second part of the identification system in connection with operating the first part of the identification system to identify the second part of the identification system. The treatment of objects by the household device or the dosing of the treatment agent is automatically adapted to the respective information.
