Abstract: The buckle of the present invention is a buckle, of which engagement claw can be engaged with a serrate engagement groove of a band. The buckle includes: a buckle main body composed of a base plate and a roof frame, and two side plates connecting the base plate and the roof frame; and an operation piece being installed inside the roof frame, and having the engagement claw that can be engaged with the engagement groove of the band. The operation piece is movably supported by a connecting shaft connecting the two side plates in an intermediate point. The buckle main body is provided with a control piece for controlling a swing of the operation piece. The engagement claw is engaged with the engagement groove of the band, and the control piece functions as a spring for biasing the engagement claw toward the engagement groove side in such a locked state.

Abstract: Provided is a baseball cap-type headwear in which a peak is provided in a front lower end of a head circumferential portion and a crown is connected to an upper end of the head circumferential portion, in which a front portion of the head circumferential portion is formed as an inclined surface that widens in an outward direction of the headwear as the inclined surface advances toward a lower end, a void is formed between the peak and the head circumferential portion, and the central portion of one end of the peak is positioned on an inner side of the headwear more than the front lower end of the head circumferential portion, and at least the front portion of the head circumferential portion and the peak are integrally molded from a synthetic resin.

The length adjustment mechanism comprises a slide adjuster. The slide adjuster comprises a band and a buckle that are formed of a synthetic resin. An engagement claw of the buckle is engaged with a serrated engagement groove provided on the outer surface of the band so that, in an engaged state, the band freely approaches the buckle but cannot retract. The buckle is fixed to the backside of the bottom. When the band approaches the buckle, the periphery of the bottom shrinks while, when the band moves away from the buckle, the periphery of the bottom expands.

The buckle body further includes restricting members projecting inwardly from two side plates thereof, and the operating plate includes recessed portions for receiving the restricting members therein without connecting thereto to prevent an accidental pressing force from being applied in a vertical direction to the operating plate.

An air hole 17 is also provided at a back of a peak portion of the hat body 10. The front air hole 13 mainly functions as an inlet for the ambient air, and the rear air hole 17 functions as an outlet for the air introduced into and staying inside the hat body 10.

A pair of hook parts capable of pulling both end parts by fingers of one hand is installed on both end parts. A buckle connected to the band includes a buckle main body having a bottom plate, a roof frame, and side plates for connecting the bottom plate to the roof frame. An operating plate is installed horizontally inside the roof frame, and has an engaging claw engageable with the band engaging grooves and a pressing part. The buckle and the band is made simple, and easily attached together.

Abstract: It is an object to provide a safety cap which is lightweight and excellent in air ventilating ability and waterproofness in rainy weather or the like. The safety cap includes an air hole penetrating inner and outer walls of a cap body, a drainage channel provided along the inner wall of the cap body for discharging water coming into the cap body through the air hole to outside of the cap body, and a vent hole in an upper side of a cross section of the drainage channel perpendicular to the drainage direction. Alternatively the safety cap includes a drainage groove formed in the outer surface of a cap body and having a plurality of vent holes formed in the side walls thereof, wherein the drainage groove is covered with a cover body having air holes and also an edge section of the drainage groove is opened to an outside of the cap body as a drainage hole.
