Patents Assigned to Bullet Golf Ball, Inc.
  • Patent number: 5450954
Abstract: A golf bag has a retractable towel attachment mounted thereon. This attachment is formed by a spring loaded reel mechanism which is mounted in a compartment formed in a top inner portion of the bag, this reel portion having a line wound around it and normally held in a wound up state by the spring action of the reel. The line runs through an aperture in a side wall of the bag to an outer wall of the bag and has an attachment member on the free end thereof which is used to removably attach the line to a towel. The attachment member also operates to retain the end of the line against the side wall of the bag. The towel can be pulled away from the bag against the spring action of the reel for use in cleaning golf clubs, golf balls or other items and when released is retained along the side wall of the bag. The towel is readily removable from the attachment member for replacement when required.

  • Patent number: 5348303
Abstract: A first marker which may be in the shape of a diamond is engraved on the outer wall of a golf club grip in a predetermined position spaced from the top end of the grip. A second marker which may be in the form of a diamond smaller than the first marker is engraved on the outer wall of the golf club grip in a predetermined position directly below the first marker. A plurality of elongated vertical grooves are engraved in the outer wall of the grip in the upper portion thereof. For proper gripping of the club, the user grips the golf club grip with one hand (left hand for a right handed person) with four fingers wrapped around the grip and over the vertical grooves and with the thumb placed over the first diamond marker. The other hand is placed over the first hand with only the small finger of the right hand overlapping the index finger of the left hand and grips the lower portion of the grip with the second marker located between the user's thumb and forefinger.

  • Patent number: 5265894
Abstract: A cover for enclosing and supporting a bag such as a golf bag and including a pouch for containing golf equipment. This cover is of a collapsible nature for easy and convenient storage and handling as compared with rigid covers, having pliant front rear, side, and top portions. The bottom of the cover has a rigid base with wheels mounted therein. An opening is provided in the cover to permit the insertion of a bag therein, this opening being closable by a suitable device such as a zipper. A handle is mounted on the bag to permit the user to roll the bag along on the wheels. When the bag is not in use, the side, front, rear and top portions can be folded down onto the base to make the cover compact for stowage.

  • Patent number: 5135229
Abstract: A golf putter head has a pair of spaced notches formed in the top surface of the face plate thereof. These notches run through the face plate transversely and have a width and depth suitable for removably receiving golf tees or the like in retention therein. With golf tees installed in each of the notches, such tees form spacers extending normally from the face plate, the distance between such spacers being such as to receive a golf ball therebetween with a small space to spare on either side of the ball. The golfer practices putting by striking the ball on the surface area of the face plate without the ball striking either tee. The tees are readily removable when the putter is used for actual play.

  • Patent number: 5106096
Abstract: A golf ball has dimples formed on its surface which are in a pattern covering the entire surface and which has square dimples and round dimples which are interspersed with each other in a generally uniform manner. This end result is achieved by arranging most of the dimples in circles which run around the ball and with alternate round and square dimples. A first group of the circles run parallel to each other and a second group of the circles run parallel to each other with the circles of the first group being substantially perpendicular to those of the second group. So as to completely cover the surface of the ball with dimples, the uniform alternate round and square dimple pattern is necessarily interrupted at several places. About 432 dimples are placed on the surface of the ball for optimum aerodynamic effect.
