    Abstract: A resilient mounting, such as used for marine engines, having a base provided with a cylindrical socket in which a resilient bushing is tightly compressed. The bushing extends above the socket at its upper end and the socket is designed so that the load on the bushing will be carried essentially in shear. A stud assembly is connected with the bushing and projects upwardly therefrom.
