Abstract: An apparatus, a method and a non-transitory computer readable medium are described herein related to extracting SAP archive data on a non-original system. In this way a user may extract business data from any ADK-format archive file in isolation, independent of the original system and without any accompanying metadata. A cloud-based on-demand distributed architecture with a plurality of virtualized SAP Netweaver Application Servers ABAP may speed up the extraction process from ADK-format files by an arbitrary order of magnitude.

Abstract: A computer implemented method for processing information related to an extract-transform-load (ETL) data migration, may include extracting a full set of transactional data, master data and customizing data from a source system, separating said transactional data into history data and operational data, creating a copy of said source system without said transactional data, creating an instance of a target system by performing a combined system conversion and database migration on said copy of said source system, transforming said operational data in such a way that it becomes compatible with a data schema of a database for operational data on said target system, loading said transformed operational data into said database for operational data, loading said history data into a database for history data on an archive system, and loading a search help module in relation to a user query for transactional data on said target system.

Abstract: An apparatus, a method and a non-transitory computer readable medium are described herein related to generating views for archived business objects. The views display query results which are retrieved from a relational database for archived business data. The views are generated with a view generator which makes use of both a catalog, a standard business object and a business object parser which may detect differences in terms of field names and foreign-key relationships between a standard business object and a customer-enhanced business object. The combination of standard business objects with a business object parser enables the re-use of components from a standard library of business objects across various clients without resulting data loss, especially when there are client-specific deviations from the standard model of business objects.
