Patents Assigned to Bussco Engineering, Inc.
  • Patent number: 4988577
Abstract: A stiffener for a printed circuit board which comprises an elongated metallic electrically conductive bar. Extending from the bar are a plurality of spaced apart pins with these pins being in longitudinal alignment. Each pin is constructed to facilitate physical deformation such as by including a through opening within the body of the pin or with the pin including notched-out areas in the side walls of the pin. Upon the pin incurring a sufficiently powerful striking force, the pin will deform and expand laterally.

  • Patent number: 4554615
Abstract: An electrical conducting panel and method of making such which is constructed of an integral sheet material housing. Extending out of the plane of the housing are a plurality of electrically connecting plugs which are to electrically connect with appropriate electrical connectors of a separate electrical panel. The housing is constructed of a stacked plurality of electrical conducting frame members and a plurality of electrically insulating plates. Included within the housing are a plurality of electrically insulating inserts, each of which is positioned at a selected location. The housing includes a plurality of openings through which are to extend electronic components which are mounted on the circuit board to which the panel is connected. After the panel is completely assembled, it is heated under pressure which results in the electrical insulative plates and inserts fusing together into an integral unit.

  • Patent number: 4460620
Abstract: An electrical connector which is covered on its exterior surface with a non-adhering, non-electrically conductive material. The electrical contact surfaces of the electrical connector are free of the non-electrically conductive material. This electrical connector is manufactured by mounting the electrical connector on a mounting fixture wherein the electrical contact surfaces are in direct contact with the mounting fixture, heating the electrical connector to within a desired temperature range, then submerging the electrical connector in a quantity of powdered plastic which evenly coates the exterior surface of the electrical connector, removing the electrical connector from the powdered plastic, reheating of the electrical connector to cause fusing of the powdered plastic into an integral mass, cooling of the electrical connector and then removing such from the mounting fixture.

  • Patent number: 4353610
Abstract: An electrical conducting strip to form an electrical conducting path between a plurality of terminal posts within a bus bar. The electrical conducting strip is to include a plurality of spaced-apart opening arrangements with each opening arrangement being adapted to connect with a terminal post. Each opening arrangement includes an access opening and an engaging opening. The terminal post is to enter the opening arrangement through the access opening and then move longitudinally until the side walls of the engaging opening tightly clamp the terminal post.

  • Patent number: 4343965
Abstract: A bus bar assembly which uses a separate pair of electrical conducting members. Between the electrical conducting members there is located a selectively variable capacitance assembly. The entire bus bar assembly is hermetically sealed by a covering assembly once a desired amount of capacitance has been located between the electrical conducting members.
