Abstract: According to some embodiments of the invention, data may be collected from multiple tagged pallets by a mobile reader pallet. The tagged pallets may include components capable of short range communication with the mobile reader pallet. The reader pallet may include components capable of long range communication that allow the reader pallet to transmit the data to another device or server. This may result in reduced costs and battery preservation, as each pallet does not need to include costly and power intensive long range communication components. Further, because the reader pallet is mobile, movement of the tagged pallets within range of a stationary reader is not needed.
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention address the above problems and others, while providing for a number of advantages. Some embodiments provide for end to end tracking that is able to provide ubiquitous sensor information and coverage by pairing the sensor data collection (either via BLE, barcodes, or QR codes paired with a mobile app or smart device) with the assets to collect data from farm to fork (i.e., end to end). This is in contrast to traditional solutions that may only he able to track certain data for a single leg or trip in the supply chain. Some embodiments allow more devices to be paired with products within a truckload or warehouse, since the devices are already embedded with the asset.
Abstract: Three approaches for attaching tracking devices to pallets. In a first approach, one or more electronic components of a tracking device are disposed within a cavity of a block of a pallet. In a second approach, one or more electronic components of a tracking device are disposed within a strut that interfaces between two beams of a pallet. In a third approach, one or more electronic components of a tracking device are disposed within a cavity of a beam.

Abstract: Provided are methods, including computer-implemented methods, devices, and computer-program products applying systems and methods for facility matching and localization. According to some embodiments of the invention, the location of a pallet at a facility within a supply chain may be determined from location data received from a beacon on the pallet. In some embodiments, the position of the pallet within the facility may also be determined. Thus, the status of pallets may be monitored as they move through the supply chain.

Abstract: Provided are methods, including computer-implemented methods, devices, and computer-program products applying systems and methods for pallet identification. According to some embodiments of the invention, a pallet may be visually identified through photographs without attaching physical labels. Thus, the status of pallets may be monitored (e.g., their location and structural integrity) as they move through the supply chain.

Abstract: Provided are methods, including computer-implemented methods, devices, and computer-program products applying promotion tracking. According to some embodiments of the invention, industry users may determine where a promotional pallet is in the store, the removal of promotional goods from the promotional pallet, and/or user interaction with the promotional pallet.
