Abstract: A composition for treating and preventing diaper rash comprises zinc oxide, dimethicone, mineral oil, a suspending agent, and an emulsifier. The emulsifier has a Hydrophile-Lipophile Balance number of at most 4.5 and the composition is sprayable. The suspending agent may be a hydrophobic clay.

Abstract: The present invention provides compositions, kits, and methods suitable for cleansing the colon before colonoscopy. The compositions include a phosphate salt and a flavorant that includes aspartame and a citrate. The kits include the previously mentioned compositions and also may include suitable containers, packaging, relief wipes, and instructions for use. The methods may include administering orally to a subject an aqueous preparation including monobasic sodium phosphate, dibasic sodium phosphate, aspartame, and citric acid.

Abstract: A method of measuring the squeeze force of a package includes applying a compression force to the package, and measuring the compression force as a function of volume change of the package. The compression force may be applied by placing the package in a force tester, and compressing the package with a movable crosshead. A device for measuring the squeeze force of a package containing a fluid may include a force tester and a fluid gauge, where the force tester includes a movable crosshead and a force gauge attached to the crosshead. The device may also include a holder to secure a bottle for testing.

Abstract: A disposable douche for dispensing fluids contained therein including a collapsible container, a sealing closure, a nozzle assembly having a passageway communicating with the interior of the container for dispensing the contents of the container, a portion of the nozzle being retractable into the interior of the container to a storage position and being extendable to a use position, seals between the nozzle and the closure and between the closure and the container for preventing leakage from the container, a sleeve valve mounted on the nozzle for controlling the flow of fluids from the container through the nozzle, abutments on the closure and sleeve valve for opening the sleeve valve when the nozzle is extended from the retracted to the use position.
