  • Publication number: 20130226022
Abstract: The invention comprises a measurement device for lung function measurement comprising a flow tube forming an air-flow path, an actuator for closing and opening the flow tube and at least one sensor for measuring at least one lung function variable, wherein the actuator is arranged to force the flow tube to close the air-flow path by pressing the tube against a wall of the flow tube.

  • Patent number: 5713246
Abstract: Method for applying an energy-storing flywheel (2) with pre-tension with an inner bore on a coaxial support (16) rotating symmetrically with the latter and having a tapering outer surface, in which a ring (22a, 22b, 22c, 22d) is placed in the flywheel bore with a tapering inner surface, of which the taper corresponds with that of the support (16) and the entire unit thus obtained is shifted on the support (16) until the desired pre-tension is obtained. In accordance with the invention both the inner bore of the flywheel (18a, 18b, 18c, 18d) and the outer surface of the ring (22a, 22b, 22c, 22d), which co-operate, have a design with a corresponding taper. Furthermore. The invention includes a clamping ring (22a), which can be used when using this method, having a tapering inner surface, the outer surface, intended for functioning with the flywheel being also conical.

  • Patent number: 5634381
Abstract: A flange (6) for coupling a cylindrical element (4) to be driven at a high rotational speed with an inner, and coaxial, rotating axle (2), comprising a first cylindrical inner part (26) connected with the axle, and connected via a connecting part (12), to a cylindrical radially outer part (20, 10) which bears the cylindrical part (4), with which it is intended to accomplish to retain a good contact, also at high rotational speeds, between this outer surface (10) and the rotor (4) carried on it. For this purpose the connecting part (6) in the invention is formed by two disc-shaped parts (14, 16) situated at a distance from one another in an axial and radial direction, the outermost (14) of which is connected to the outer part (20) via an essentially right-angled transition, the innermost (16) of which is connected to the inner part (26) via an essentially right-angled transition, and which are connected to one another via an intermediary part (24) via an essentially right-angled transition.

  • Patent number: 5471827
Abstract: A device for the automatic selective harvesting of mushrooms grown on a growing bed that includes: at least one camera for observing the mushrooms on the growing bed; a carrier which is movable above the growing bed relative thereto, and is provided with apparatus for positioning one or more picking heads for picking mushrooms on the basis of information coming from each camera; wherein the picking heads each have a deformable suction cup which is connected to a controllable source of reduced pressure for fixing by suction the cap of a mushroom against the suction cup and wherein each suction cup is rotatable through a certain angle for detaching the mushroom held by suction on the suction cup from the growing bed and wherein the picking head includes a torsionally essentially rigid, laterally flexible coupling member for interconnecting the suction cup with the positioning apparatus.

  • Patent number: 5241254
Abstract: Control circuit for semiconductor components of a converter circuit which can be switched on and off to convert direct current into three-phase current. The converter circuit is connected between a direct-current source and the stator of a synchronous machine having a cylindrical rotor. The control circuit measures rotor position and the direct current and determines from the obtained signals the value of the commutation angle .mu. of the phase current i in the converter at any value of the direct current I.sub.d on the basis of a model of the synchronous machine which solely takes account of the fundamental harmonic of the phase current i, the firing angle .alpha. of the semiconductor components being set between limits determined for any value of the direct current I.sub.d by the associated commutation angle .mu..

  • Patent number: 5037352
Abstract: A device for the placing of a spreader in the hind legs of a slaughtered animal comprising two penetration devices, each of which comprises a penetration pin provided with a pointed end, a penetration tube which is movable in the axial direction and is open at one end, the penetration pin being axially accommodated within the penetration tube and the penetration pin being movable within the penetration tube in the axial direction, and a slide-off mechanism which is movable relative to the penetration tube. In operation, the laps of the slaughtered animal are positioned relative to the penetration device and the toes of the slaughtered animal are bent relative to its legs virtually at a right angle with the aid of a toe presser.
