Abstract: A firearm safety device includes a clip including a bend between a first end and a second end, wherein the clip is configured to mate with a firearm that comprises an accessible safety selector rod, and thereby place the firearm in a safety-locked position, wherein a section of the clip that extends to the first end is configured to be inserted into a gap of the firearm behind the safety selector rod and thereby prevent rotation of the safety selector rod in the safety-locked position., and wherein a section of the clip that extends to the second end is configured to be retained against an opposing surface of the firearm in the safety-locked position.
