    Abstract: A traction device for a wheeled vehicle arranged to be laid on the ground in engagement with a tread portion of a tire to provide a traction grip to the tire. The traction device includes a U-shaped frame and a pair of claws constructed at the ends of the U-shaped frame and arranged to engage into cavities between the tire treads by a lever action on the traction device. The traction device further includes a plurality of transverse braces extending between a pair of longitudinal bars of the U-shaped frame, each transverse brace having a pair of traction cleats extending downwardly to engage with the ground and to elevate the traction device from ground in some measure.
