Abstract: A hair article according to the invention comprises two jaws which are elongate in a direction of extension and each include a rigid body having a principal part which is elongate in the direction of extension and parallel transverse excrescences to which is attached an elastically flexible structure parallel to the direction of extension, offset from the principal part of the rigid body and including projecting parts oriented toward the second jaw. A lighter hair article, in which the flexibility of the elastically flexible structure improves the hold in the hair, is thus produced.

Abstract: A hairstyling device includes two jaws hinged together about a transverse hinge axis around which a helical spring is helically wound. The spring is contained in an opaque casing attached to the first jaw and which has an end notch through which one second radially projecting end of the spring passes to bear against the second jaw. The casing is in one piece, with a rim at one end covering the outside edge of a first perforated lug to prevent rotation. Its other end has no rim but is associated with another first perforated lug which is oversized and has an outside edge substantially continuous with the outside lateral surface of the casing.
Abstract: A hair grip has two elongate one-piece jaws connected by a spring-loaded hinge and delimited by two respective first longitudinal edges, two respective other longitudinal edges. The respective other longitudinal edges each carry spaced curved penetrating teeth extending the jaw on the side opposite the first edges and concave sides of which face toward the teeth of the other jaw to penetrate the hair. These pluralities of penetrating teeth conjointly form a longitudinal succession of pairs of teeth of each respective plurality of teeth. The longitudinal succession of pairs of teeth includes at least one pair of bearing teeth whose end areas are disposed and oriented to rest on or slightly below the surface of the hair, and at least one pair of penetrating teeth offset from each other along said other longitudinal edges of the jaws and which can cross over to penetrate in the hair.
