Abstract: The subject of the invention is a method of manufacturing centrifuged, glass fiber-reinforced synthetic material pipes wherein liquid, curable resin, which contains a filler, together with glass fibers, additives for the curing process, possibly also with sand, is introduced into a rotating mould and the temperature of the mould is between 40° C. and 75° C. as the raw materials are introduced. The resin used in the layers in the outer region of the pipe has a gel time which is equal to or greater than the gel time of the resin used for the inner region of the pipe and the resin comprising a filler content of at least 40% is used. Furthermore, once the exothermal reaction has commenced, warm water is sprayed onto the mould in order to maintain the temperature of the mould at least at 60° C. until the pipe is removed.
Abstract: A device for moving a tool lengthwise in a passageway such as a pipe or oil well hole, with a power or signal conduit connected between the tool and outside of the passageway, consists of a solid rod with a groove along the rod's length, the groove extending inwards from the rod outer surface. The conduit is installed in the groove. The device can also be used to rotate the tool in the passageway.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is an improved drawer latch mechanism, particularly suited for attaching to the front side of a drawer. The drawer front latch preferably has a handle with a full-length grip that is sufficiently large so that it may be operated while wearing gloves, holding a towel or other types of hand coverings. The handle is used to open and close the drawer such that the action of pulling on the handle to open the drawer releases spring-loaded latches biased to be in a locked position. Pushing the drawer closed causes catch surfaces of tapered leading ends of the latch to engage with drawer mounting walls of the cabinet and latch the drawer closed.
Abstract: The invention relates to a multipurpose hand device especially comprising utensils. A lift and/or release mechanism (88, 89) is assigned to said utensils (81), enabling them to be placed in a slightly raised position so that they can be grasped easily or locked in a swing-out position.

Abstract: A pipe coupling according to the invention comprises a socket (2) of glass-fiber reinforced plastics material and a membrane (4) of elastic material which is formed at at least one end as a seal and comprises a sleeve section (8). Where the membrane is formed as a seal, it has at the end where the pipe (20) is to be introduced (thus at the outer end), a short cylindrical band (14). In the cylindrical band the membrane has a constant wall thickness, which is backed by the glass-fiber reinforced socket material of the pipe coupling.
Abstract: A multipurpose hand-held implement, comprising at least two components which can be locked in a closed position and then form a compact, essentially closed body, in the case of which the two components, with preferably confluent contours, are directed towards one another. In the closed position, the body forms the handle for actuating utensils, such as a knife, staple remover or cutter, which are accommodated in the components in a set-back manner, such that they can be pushed out. The two components are preferably connected to one another in an articulated manner and, after release of the locking means, can be moved relative to one another in order to actuate, for example, a stapler, a hole puncher or a pair of scissors. Further utensils, for example a magnifying glass, a pointer or a laser pointer may be accommodated in the components.
