    Abstract: An air pre-filter assembly is provided for installation in the OEM air inlet of an internal combustion engine in a vehicle. The pre-filter assembly includes a polyester fiber filter retained in the inlet duct by a spring-clip or a ring. The pre-filter and ring reside completely within the air duct, and requires no additional structure. The pre-filter assembly is located upstream from the primary filter, and can be replaced or removed for cleaning, as needed.
