    Abstract: A cable television apparatus is applied to an input coaxial cable and an output coaxial cable to transmit a cable television signal. The cable television apparatus includes an improved choke, an input side, an output side, an input capacitor and an output capacitor. The improved choke is electrically connected to the input coaxial cable, the output coaxial cable, the input side, the output side, the input capacitor and the output capacitor. The improved choke includes a conductive wire and a ferrite core. One side of the conductive wire is electrically connected to the input side and one side of the input capacitor. The other side of the conductive wire is electrically connected to the output side and one side of the output capacitor. The ferrite core covers one part of the conductive wire. Moreover, the ferrite core is a high saturation current ferrite core.

At least two of the low-pass-side inductors of the low pass filters are manufactured on the printed circuit board by a printed-circuit-board-layout technology to form at least two low-pass-side printed-circuit-board-layout inductors. The at least one grounded metal wall blocks a magnetic interference between the low-pass-side inductors of the low pass filters. The low pass filter apparatus filters out a signal having a frequency above 1 GHz.

A 0.01 mm˜2 mm gap is formed between the RF directional coupler circuit and the bottom surface when the printed circuit board is deposited in the space. The distance between the printed circuit board and the cover body is shorten because of the gap, so that the reflections of the high frequency signals and the signal fading are decreasing to achieve matching high frequency impedance characteristics.

The conversion device then provides the baseband network signal to an ordinary Ethernet network device. Baseband network signal and electricity as such could be delivered through a coaxial cable beyond the conventional Ethernet without additional configuration of power supplies or power sources, and without repeatedly modulation and demodulation, coding and decoding, or conversion of communication protocols.
