Abstract: An aerially moved payload system having a platform, at least one line, reel, and motor combination for moving the platform, at least one digital microphone, image generating device, and multiplexer are attached to the platform, wherein the multiplexer is capable of embedding any audio signals captured by the a least one digital microphone into any images generated by the at least one image generating device for transmission from the platform to a remotely located control center.

Abstract: A system for transmitting data, images, and audio to and from an aerially moved payload, the system having one or more media converters for converting coax signals to fiber signals and at least two wave division multiplexers, one for combining two or more distinct fiber signals into a single fiber signal and one for splitting the two or more combined fiber signals back into two distinct fiber signals. The system also includes at least one line along which one or more of data, images, and audio may be transmitted to and from the aerially moved payload.

Abstract: A system and method for controlling an aerially moved payload having at least one information capturing device and at least one line, reel, and motor combination for maneuvering the payload. The system includes a database having at least one control parameter or location parameter input therein. An image viewing device is provided for displaying information from the at least one information capturing device and software for overlaying at least one of the at least one control or location parameter.

Abstract: An aerial movement system for supporting an object that includes main reels with associated motors and support lines and an auxiliary reel with an associated motor and auxiliary line wherein upon failure of the main reels, the auxiliary reel switches from a first mode of operation to a second mode of operation. The auxiliary line may also be capable of transmitting data from the object to a computer.

Abstract: An aerial movement system and method for calibrating same includes, generally, registration points and wireless position transceivers proximate the registration points and the object that communicate with a computer and allow for the computer to determine the appropriate amount of support lines to draw in or release.
