Abstract: Mechanical clips and pier cap assemblies are provided that may be used to construct solar panel mounting frames. The assemblies include a pier cap that is configured to be attached to a top portion of a pier, which includes an opening and a flange stop. The flange stop is configured to support a solar panel mounting frame member. The assemblies further include a clip that has an aperture and a tab, with the tab being configured to be disposed through the opening in the pier cap. The assemblies further include a bolt and a nut, which are used to secure a solar panel mounting frame member to the pier cap.

Abstract: A suspension tray is provided that is adapted to hold a plurality of cables and/or wires that includes a device for electrically bonding and grounding the tray. The tray includes a series of spokes forming a wire mesh support on which the cables and/or wires are placed. The device (which serves to electrically bond and ground the tray) includes a plurality of conductive elements affixed to the wire mesh support. Each conductive element may include two side portions and a middle portion. The two side portions are preferably sealed with a paint composition and the middle portion includes a conductive surface that is capable of electrically bonding and grounding the tray.

Abstract: Devices and methods are provided for suspending and retaining telecommunication cables, power cables, and other items within or outside of a building. The devices generally include a support tray having a bottom plane and top plane, with the tray being adapted to support the article. The tray will include at least one corner area, but may include many separate corner areas. The devices will further include a retention device, which is affixed to or integrally formed with the corner area. The retention device will include at least one protrusion that extends from the corner area into an interior portion of the tray. The retention device and, more specifically, the at least one protrusion will be effective to prevent articles, such as telecommunication cables, power cables, and other items, from being pulled over the corner area of the tray during installation of the cables.
Abstract: The present invention relates to devices and methods for suspending telecommunication cables, power cables, and other items within a building. According to certain non-limiting embodiments of the present invention, devices for supporting an article are provided. The article may be, for example, one or more telecommunication and/or power cables. According to certain embodiments, the devices comprise a support arm that is adapted to support the article. The support arm is preferably reversibly and adjustably connected to a vertical support. As described herein, the vertical support rests substantially adjacent to a first side of a wall. The apparatus further comprises a horizontal support, which makes contact with at least a portion of the top side of the wall. This horizontal support is, preferably, connected to or integrally formed with the vertical support. In certain embodiments, the devices further comprise a second vertical support, which rests substantially adjacent to a second side of the wall, i.e.
