Patent number: 8070589Abstract: A skill-based redemption gaming machine in which a plurality of game symbols are arranged on a plurality of slot machine-type reels is configured to ensure that player awards comply with statutory guidelines. Patent number: 7892085Abstract: An electronic bingo game and method for playing the same is disclosed. A bingo card having a plurality of numbered spaces is presented to a player, in which at least one of the numbered spaces is hidden to the player's view, thereby forming covered and uncovered portions of the bingo card. A random number generator draws bingo numbers until the occurrence of a game ending event, which numbers are compared to the numbered spaces on both the covered and uncovered portions of the bingo card. If the pattern of numbers formed on the uncovered portion of the bingo card forms one or more of a set of designated winning bingo patterns, a first award is paid to the player. The player is then presented with the opportunity to reveal one or more of the covered spaces on the bingo card whereupon a second prize is paid if the pattern of numbers formed on the uncovered spaces forms one or more of a set of designated winning bingo patterns.Type: GrantFiled: July 10, 2007Date of Patent: February 22, 2011Assignee: Cadillac Jack, Inc.Inventor: David James Harris

Patent number: 7874907Abstract: An electronic bingo game and method for playing the same wherein a random number generator selects bingo balls from a predetermined range that includes regular bingo balls (210) and one or more feature balls (208). As regular bingo balls (210) are selected they are compared to the numbers on a bingo card (206). The card is marked when a match occurs. Eventually, if the spaces marked on the player's card match one or more of the winning patterns, the player receives an award. The selection of a feature ball (208) triggers a game altering function such as terminating the game and comparing the marked spaces on the bingo card to a set of winning patterns, or, alternatively, terminating the game and paying additional winnings for bingo patterns marked on the player's bingo card prior to selection of the Feature Ball (208). Other feature ball functions may also be implemented.Type: GrantFiled: August 23, 2005Date of Patent: January 25, 2011Assignee: Cadillac Jack, Inc.Inventors: Carlos Lozano, Michael Macke
