Abstract: A discharge apparatus (1) comprises within the pump housing (2) an integral full-length working member (10) having spring sections (28, 29, 30) and sections located between these which form a valve housing (18), fastening members for connecting to a piston (12) and the like. The spring section in each case may be configured as a helical or torsion spring having a closed spring jacket, thus resulting in simple manufacture and simple assembly with high functional reliability.
Abstract: In a device (1) suitable for discharging media or the like at least one springly deformable component (5, 6, 11, 40) consists of a copolymer produced with a co-catalyst such as titanocen, more particularly an ethylene .alpha.-olefine copolymer which may also be improved as regards its resiliency by gamma irradiation.In a spiral spring (26, 39, 49) produced from this or a similar plastics material axially adjacent spiral sections are directly integrally connected to each other not only via the spiral but also along the circumference of the spring.
Abstract: A dispenser (1) has a medium outlet (19) oriented transversely to the actuating direction, and guiding surfaces (54) defined by a nozzle body (52) that is configured integrally with the plunger (27). The guiding surfaces (54) are provided between adjoining circumferential surface areas of the piston stem (65) and the discharge head (12), so that no separate, external nozzle cap is required to provide the desired atomizing spray pattern.
Abstract: A dispenser (1) comprises for its plunger chamber (13) an outlet valve (20) which after opening on the actuating stroke continues to remain open for a time during the subsequent return stroke due to a delay means (30) so as to ensure a more or less complete venting or filling of the plunger chamber (13). At the end of the delay period the closure maintained in the open position position by friction surface areas (37, 38) is released and automatically jumps back into its closed position. After venting, the effectiveness of the delay means (30) diminishes so that in normal operation substantially only a pressure dependent opening and closing of the outlet valve (20) is provided for.
