  • Patent number: 4234101
Abstract: There is disclosed a cup dispenser which employs a cam actuated cup accommodating and release assembly. A cam ring employs four cam surfaces about the periphery thereof. Each cam surface is associated with a flexible rocker arm. The cam ring is rotatably mounted within a dispenser housing and upon rotation of the ring by means of an associated lever, the rocker arms are moved inwardly or outwardly according to the diameter and dimensions of a cup to be accommodated. The position of the cam ring in regard to the rocker arm is predetermined according to fixed graduations associated with the lever mechanism. The rocker arms have a unique surface configuration which coacts with the cups to enable the top most cup to be withdrawn, while simultaneously exerting a counter force on succeeding cups within the stack. The force is in a direction to retain these cups within the housing, thus facilitating the removal of one cup at a time.

  • Patent number: 4155484
Abstract: A napkin dispenser is fabricated from plastic by means of conventional injection molding or other techniques. The dispenser comprises a first and second housing sections which are pivotally coupled by means of a hinge member partially formed on the bottom surface of each housing. Each section contains a napkin accommodating hollow which interfaces with a dispensing aperture on a front wall of the housing. Located between the napkin accommodating hollow and the bottom wall of the housing is a cantilever platform which has first and second recesses. The recesses of one housing are offset with respect to recesses contained in the associated housing on a similar platform. A first plastic spring member has two arcuate arms which are secured within recesses of one housing. A second plastic spring member of a similar configuration has two respective arms which are associated with the recesses in the other housing.

  • Patent number: 4132380
Abstract: A wall bracket has a relatively planar back surface with first and second side walls extending therefrom at a given angle. The bracket has a closed bottom surface and a longitudinal slot is formed between the side walls. A clip mechanism has a back surface adapted for mounting on a dispenser and has two depending side walls extending therefrom at a given angle. The clip mechanism is slideably mounted in the wall bracket mechanism and based on the tapers of the side walls, can be pulled through the slot in the wall bracket to thus prevent damage to either bracket or the dispenser assembly.
