Abstract: A system and method to create and update a live map of venues and events by defining a polygonal area around a pre-determined point, the point being defined by a latitude and a longitude, associating a time window with the polygonal area, associating a geographical region with the polygonal area, creating a dataset including one or more venues identified within the geographical region defined by the polygonal area, and outputting the created dataset to the user interface, wherein the user interface device is configured to generate data objects corresponding to the identified one or more venues in the created data set and present the data objects on the display.
