Patents Assigned to CALIBRE CLOSURES LLC
  • Patent number: 10301057
Abstract: A vessel configured to contain a powder, semi-solid or liquid product and to dispense predetermined amounts of the product. The vessel includes a container, a limiting member, and a dispensing closure. The container, limiting member and dispensing closure are not integral with each other, are constructed as discrete components, and are assembled to form the vessel. The limiting member limits inward deflection of the container during each squeezing of the container to limit the amount of product displaced from the container into the dispensing closure.

  • Patent number: 8646659
Abstract: A vessel having a dispensing closure; a container engaged with the dispensing closure and having a pair of opposed walls defining a bore for receiving the product and having a relaxed state, the container being repeatedly squeezable to inwardly deflect from its relaxed state to cause the opposed walls to deflect inwardly to displace some of the product from the container into the dispensing closure for dispensing one of the predetermined amounts of product and being flexible to return its relaxed state after squeezing, and a limiting member disposed within the bore for limiting inward deflection of the opposed walls during each squeezing of the container to limit the amount of product displaced from the container into the dispensing closure. The limiting member has an H-shaped cross section substantially along its length.

  • Publication number: 20140027469
Abstract: A dispensing closure for a vessel comprising a base member and a spout member engaged with the base member. The base member including a rupture member having a camming surface and the spout member having a cam actuator for engaging the camming surface to rupture the rupture member during twisting of the spout member in a first direction relative to the base member from a sealed position to a flow position to define a flow opening in the base member to permit fluid flow through the flow opening. The dispensing closure may include a pair of spaced rupture members and cam actuators. The dispensing closure may include a cap member hingedly attached to the spout member. The dispensing closure may include tamper evidency ring or other structure and a locking mechanism configured to lock the cap member in the closed position until the cap member and spout are rotated a sufficient distance to break the tamper evidency ring.

  • Patent number: 8459502
Abstract: A dispensing closure for a vessel comprising a base member engageable with the vessel and a flip top spout member defining a flow channel. The spout member engaged with the base member and pivotable relative to the base member for dispensing fluid from the vessel. The spout member including a rupture membrane and the base member having an actuator for rupturing the rupture membrane during pivoting of the spout member to define a flow opening in the base member in fluid communication with the flow channel and to permit fluid flow through the flow opening. The spout member defining a vent positioned to be in communication with the flow opening when the spout member is pivoted to the flow position to permit air to pass through the vent channel. The rupture member configured to prevent fluid from passing into the vent channel.
