Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a lateral flow assay method and strip wherein a sample is injected into a sample pad, a preconcentration kit is coupled to the sample pad to preconcentrate analytes, and a conjugate pad or a test pad is connected to the sample pad to transfer the analytes to the conjugate pad or the test pad, whereby a biomarker present at a low concentration can be detected.
