Abstract: A ski boot including a substantially rigid foot-case adapted to accommodate a user's foot, a substantially rigid cuff adapted to surround a lower part of the user's leg and being pivotally joined to the foot-case so as to be able to rotate about a reference axis substantially perpendicular to a midplane of the ski boot and a closing mechanism adapted to selectively close/tighten the on the user's foot. The closing mechanism may include a locking band, which extends transversally to the midplane of the ski boot having a first end firmly fixed to a first lateral side of the foot-case and a manually-operated coupling assembly adapted to connect a the second end of the locking band selectively and alternatively to the foot-case or to the cuff, at a second lateral side of the foot-case opposite to the first lateral side.

Abstract: Climbing shoe comprising: a shoe-upper shaped to accommodate and substantially cover the entire foot of the user; a polymeric-material sole fixed to the bottom of the shoe-upper so as to cover the front part of the bottom of said shoe-upper; and a sagittal tensioning band made of elastomeric material, which connects the toe of the shoe-upper directly to the rear part of the shoe-upper, in the area above the Calcaneus of the user's foot, passing underneath the sole; the sagittal tensioning band being substantially Y-shaped, so as to extend longitudinally along the tarsus-phalangeal portion of the bottom of the shoe-upper while remaining underneath the sole, and then forking into two branches that extend obliquely along the two lateral sides of the shoe-upper, up to reach the rear part of the shoe-upper.

Abstract: A method for manufacturing a waterproof and vapor-permeable shoe comprising the steps of providing an upper and a lining comprising at least one functional layer of vapor-permeable and waterproof material, providing an insole comprising a functional support sheet of vapor-permeable and waterproof material, coupling the peripheral edge of the functional layer of the lining to the peripheral edge of the functional sheet of the insole by way of a sealing waterproof adhesive so as to shape a sock of vapor-permeable and waterproof material, couple the upper to the outer surface of the lining by way of a vapor-permeable adhesive; and couple a sole to the upper and/or to the lining and/or to the insole.

Abstract: A mountaineering boot having: a vamp designed to accommodate the user's foot and ankle, roughly up to calf height; a sole unmovably fixed to the bottom of the vamp to cover the underside of the user's foot; a substantially sock-shaped outer gaiter which completely covers the vamp grazing the outer surface of the vamp up to the top of the bootleg of the vamp; and a zipper which extends along the gaiter to allow the user to open the gaiter for access to the vamp underneath, following a substantially spiral-shaped, curved path which begins behind the front portion of the gaiter, and ends at the upper mouth of the bootleg of the gaiter, after following, in the end stretch, a substantially helical trajectory about the axis of the bootleg that crosses the rear part of the bootleg of the gaiter.

Abstract: A ski boot includes a shell and a cuff which is hinged on the shell so as to rotate about a first axis substantially perpendicular to the center-plane of the boot. The ski boot is provided with a cuff locking device which includes: a fixing plate which is located on the shell substantially at the heel of the boot and is provided with a projecting pin which protrudes from the shell while remaining coaxial to a third axis which substantially lies on the center-plane of the boot, and is tilted with respect to the vertical by an angle from 60° to 90°; and a connecting arm which, in the area above the heel of the boot, extends astride between the rear part of the cuff and the fixing plate, while remaining on a lying plane substantially perpendicular to said first axis.

Abstract: A climbing shoe having a vamp; a sole fixed to the bottom of the vamp; a substantially horseshoe-shaped first binding covering the tip portion of the vamp surrounding the metatarsus-phalanx area of the sole of the foot; a substantially horseshoe-shaped second binding, which covers the area of the vamp directly over the heel, and extends along the sides of the vamp up to the first binding; and a third binding designed to cover the portion of the vamp at the metatarsus-phalanx area of the sole of the foot, underneath the sole, and to at least partly cover the portion of the vamp at the arch area of the sole of the foot. The third binding has two proximal appendixes and two distal appendixes, which extend on opposite sides of the main body of the third binding.

Abstract: A ski-boot comprising an outer rigid shell, to receive the user's foot, and a rigid bootleg, shaped to wrap round the user's ankle, is hinged on the top part of the shell in order to be able to swing about a first reference axis that locally substantially coincides with the articulation axis of the user's ankle; the shell having a front half-shell and a rear half-shell rigidly fixed to one another; the front half-shell having a substantially ogival shape for covering the user's toe substantially up to the beginning of the plantar arch area of the foot and being made of at least one plastic polymer by injection moulding; the rear half-shell being designed to completely cover the remaining part of the foot, starting substantially from the plantar arch area of the foot and being made of a composite material containing fibres embedded in a resin matrix.
