Abstract: An adjustable shelving rack and system for storing and maintaining a plurality of item containers within a shelving unit in a stacked, vertical configuration. Each of the plurality of adjustable shelving racks are selectively coupled to a horizontal traverse of the shelving unit at a user determined position. The item containers may then be inserted by disposing each item container on one of a plurality of supports within each shelving rack. By having two shelving racks in close proximity to one another, each item container may be held in a suspended configuration with either side of the item container supported by a different shelving rack. Each shelving rack is coupled to a plurality of traverses through a corresponding plurality of vice assemblies which are selectively actuated to grip or apply a squeezing force to each traverse.

Disposed between each lateral pair of posts is at least one traverse which includes a male frictional engagement member configured to engage with a removable female frictional engagement member disposed on each post. The post and traverse engage with each other so as to create a proportional or supportive reaction force in response to any shear force applied to the shelving system. Each of the female frictional engagement members has a tapered edge which forms a closely fitted coupling between the post and each traverse. Each of the female frictional engagement members may be selectively disposed in one of a plurality of positions along the height of each vertical post. The shelving system further includes top and bottom connectors, both of which also frictionally engage with the vertical posts.

The first rail assembly includes a first frame, a first plurality of support members extending laterally from the first frame, and a first set of edge connectors extending in a first longitudinal direction from the first frame. The second rail assembly includes a second frame, a second plurality of support members extending laterally from the second frame and aligned with the first plurality of support members, and a second set of edge connectors extending in the first longitudinal direction from the second frame for coupling to the front panel.

Abstract: A serving tray comprised of at least one synthetic material and an insert which provides a non-slip top surface of the serving tray. The textured relief is preferably made of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) which allows a glass or other item to be placed on the serving tray without the item sliding or slipping while the tray is in motion. As the tray is being fabricated, the TPU is mechanically bonded with the top surface of the tray while a textured relief is simultaneously defined into the top surface. The textured relief provides adequate frictional force to an item being placed on the tray so as to substantially prevent its lateral movement. The tray also includes an inner support structure disposed on its inner surface. The inner support structure provides an upward facing edge which allows a plurality of trays to be easily and efficiently stacked or nested on one another.

Abstract: A rail assembly for maintaining trays for temporary storage. The rail assembly features a plurality of support members and a plurality of post attachment members. The plurality of support members include a plurality of raised edges and a plurality of shelf members, each of the plurality of shelf members extend from a corresponding raised edge of the plurality of raised edges. The plurality of post attachment members extend outwardly from the plurality of support members. Each of the plurality of post attachment members includes a first connection arm configured for attachment to a first side of a vertical post and a second connection arm configured for attachment to a second side of the vertical post.
