Abstract: A hands-free device for use in filling tanks for storing liquids, particularly water tanks on recreational or commercial vehicles having either threaded or flange style collars. The device's spring clamp can be operatively moved between the open and closed positions to secure the clamp to the collar of the storage tank during use. The filler hose is then snapped into position within the body of the device which prevents inadvertent displacement.
Abstract: A weight distributing anti-sway trailer hitch has a pair of spring arms extending rearwardly from the head unit and a pair of hookup brackets for connecting a remote end of each spring arm to a trailer. The hookup brackets have a hookup plate and a hookup strap that sandwich a trailer frame therebetween to secure the bracket to the trailer, and further have a clamp that can be opened and closed to secure the remote end of the spring arm to the trailer frame during towing.
Abstract: A plug for a bumper with a housing defining a cavity; a collar affixed to and extending from the housing, the collar defining an opening in communication with the cavity; a cap removably connected to the collar, the cap having a plurality of spaced-apart lugs on an interior surface thereof to enable the cap to be removably connected to a 4-in-1 adapter; wherein the opening defined by the collar is of sufficient size and shape to receive a 4-in-1 adapter therein when the cap is affixed to the collar, preferably by threaded screw connection. The housing has a plurality of magnets disposed on an interior surface thereof to facilitate attachment of the plug to a bumper by magnetic attraction and the cap preferably has a plurality of small scale apertures in communication with the opening and the cavity to provide ventilation while acting as a barrier to rodents, insects, etc.
Abstract: An auxiliary exhaust system for an internal combustion generator of a recreational vehicle has an elbow section with a proximal end adapted to be removably attached to an exhaust pipe of a generator and a remote end affixed to a first stack section; a second stack section adapted to be removably attached to a remote end of the first stack section, and a terminal stack section adapted to be removably affixed to a remote end of the second stack section, the stack sections together forming a fluid conduit for exhaust gases; the inlet end of the first stack section having restricted diameter portion to create a venturi effect on gases flowing through the first stack section; wherein the remote end of the elbow section is of smaller diameter than the inlet end of the first stack section and is held in concentric, spaced-apart relation to the inlet end of the first stack section to enable ambient air to be drawn into the inlet end of the first stack section as gases are passed through the auxiliary exhaust system.
