Abstract: A representative robotic machine includes an end-of-arm that is located in a work area; and a safety scanner system that scans for objects in a workspace volume around the end-of-arm. The safety scanner system determines whether to stop operations of the robotic machine based on the presence of the objects in the workspace volume.
