Patent number: 4769245Abstract: A method of packaging baked goods for commercial distribution is particularly suitable for brown and serve bakery products, which are more suscepticle to microbiological spoilage than fully baked products, and especially for brown and serve french bread, because the method alleviates the need for the addition of microbiological inhibitors while maintaining high product quality, the characteristics of European-style bread and long shelf life. Such advantages are achieved by packaging the product, while hot enough to inactivate microbial organisms, in a specially adapted container.Type: GrantFiled: November 4, 1986Date of Patent: September 6, 1988Assignee: Campbell Taggart, Inc.Inventors: Patricia A. Patent number: 4483242Abstract: A food processing machine for folding rolled sandwich type food products comprising a plurality of conveyor bands for conveying food products through first, second, third and fourth folding mechanisms, the first, third and fourth folding mechanisms each including a U-shaped bracket member with tines extending between said conveyor bands and mounted for movement in an arcuate path over said conveyor bands whereby during passage of said food product said tines lift a front portion of said product and fold it back over a following portion of said product, and the second folding mechanism comprising additional conveyor bands positioned to the outer sides of said first mentioned conveyor bands with the tangent line between the last mentioned bands changing progressively along the path of travel of said bands from essentially a horizontal orientation to a near vertical orientation whereby the side portions of a food product carried therethrough are lifted and folded over a center portion of said food product; additType: GrantFiled: March 19, 1982Date of Patent: November 20, 1984Assignee: Campbell-Taggart, Inc.Inventors: William D. Patent number: 4049955Abstract: A temporary memory means for a calculator-recorder system in which information related to each digit numerical data from the calculator is stored in a separate stage of a memory bank and information related to each function of a mathematical function of the calculator is stored in a separate stage of the memory bank, the numerical data, in decimal form, is converted to binary form prior to storage and reconverted to decimal form after storage, the function data, in decimal form, is converted to binary form and then reconverted to decimal form prior to storage. The transmission means can also include means for preventing the reception of additional numerical data by the recorder if a mathematical function is entered into the calculator before the recorder can receive and record all of the numerical data previously entered into the calculator.Type: GrantFiled: March 3, 1976Date of Patent: September 20, 1977Assignee: Campbell Taggart, Inc.Inventors: Hal Harris, Joseph S. Patent number: 4014451Abstract: A bread pan for baking a plurality of joined miniature loaves of bread, each pan having spaced upwardly extending dividers therein to divide the pan into sections, each divider having a recess formed along the upper edge thereof. A lid is provided which comprises a frame adapted to fit over the edges of the pan with a plurality of transverse spacer members therein aligned over the dividers with a downwardly extending portion thereof extending into each recess and terminating short of the bottom thereof leaving a space to form a pull-apart joinder between the miniature loaves of bread along the bottom lengthwise edge of each loaf. The upper edges of the spacers extend above the baking compartments to prevent the dough from contacting while the loaves are being baked, thereby providing a plurality of miniature pull-apart loaves of uniform shape and weight.Type: GrantFiled: November 3, 1975Date of Patent: March 29, 1977Assignee: Campbell Taggart, Inc.Inventors: Sidney E.
