    Abstract: An apparatus for crushing cans inserted into an opening in the housing thereof. The cans are crushed between a rotary drum and a roller rotatably mounted within the drum. A slide guide means directs the cans into the nip between the roller and drum. Crushed cans drop through an opening into a collecting bin.
