Patents Assigned to Canon Solutions America, Inc.
  • Patent number: 11919310
Abstract: Some embodiments of a device comprise a cleaning-fluid-supply reservoir; a cleaning-fluid-supply conduit; one or more electrical connectors that are configured to be attached to a printhead and supply electrical signals to the printhead; one or more memories; and one or more processors that are in communication with the one or more memories. Also, the one or more processors cooperate with the one or more memories to cause the device to perform operations that include supplying cleaning fluid from the cleaning-fluid-supply reservoir, through the cleaning-fluid-supply conduit, to the printhead, and while supplying the cleaning fluid to the printhead, sending a signal to the printhead, through the one or more electrical connectors, to activate one or more piezo-electric actuators of the printhead.

  • Patent number: 11902480
Abstract: Devices, systems, and methods obtain sensor data that were generated by a plurality of sensors; obtain event data that include occurrences of an event; calculate first characteristics of the sensor data that were generated by the plurality of sensors within a temporal range of an occurrence of the event; identify, in the sensor data, sensor data that were generated by the plurality of sensors within the temporal range of at least one other occurrence of the event based on the first characteristics; calculate second characteristics of the sensor data that were generated by the plurality of sensors within the temporal range of the at least one other occurrence of the event, normalize at least some of the sensor data based on the first characteristics and on the second characteristics, thereby generating normalized sensor data, and train a machine-learning model based on the normalized sensor data.

  • Patent number: 11731870
Abstract: Some embodiments of a device comprise an image-forming medium and one or more sensors that are attached to the image-forming medium. Also, in some embodiments, the image-forming medium is paper or a medium that has paper-like characteristics, at least some of the one or more sensors are microelectromechanical systems (MEMS), or the one or more sensors are configured to be powered by wireless power transfer. And some embodiments of the device further comprise a system-on-a-chip that is in communication with the one or more sensors, a transceiver that is in communication with the system-on-a-chip, or a radio-frequency identification (RFID) tag.

  • Patent number: 11722370
Abstract: Some embodiments of a system comprise a plurality of sensor arrays, wherein each sensor array of the plurality of sensors arrays includes multiple sensors, includes a wireless transceiver, includes one or more processors, and is configured to generate sensed data, according to sensor settings, while moving along a path; while moving along the path, transmit data to, and receive data from, other sensor arrays of the plurality of sensor arrays that are also moving along the path; and, while moving along the path, change one or more of the sensor settings based on the received data.
