Publication number: 20220279955Abstract: This application is for an improved juicer that can process a foodstuff to produce a juice and a pulp. The improved juicer can prevent the produced pulp from interfering with the functionality of the improved juicer by preventing the pulp from impacting critical areas within the improved juicer. The improved juicer can block the pulp from impacting and disrupting airtight seals that otherwise would allow air to escape and juice to escape during processing. A method of manufacturing the improved juicer is also described.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 3, 2021Publication date: September 8, 2022Applicant: Capbran Holdings, LLCInventor: Robert Finnance

Patent number: 11344157Abstract: An appliance operable in a first configuration as a blender and in a second configuration as a food processor, with safety mechanisms that work for both configurations. In the blender configuration, the appliance has safety mechanisms in a blade attachment that function to prevent the motor from operating unless the blade attachment is properly secured to the motor base and a blender container is properly secured to the blade attachment. In the food processor configuration, the appliance has safety mechanisms that function to prevent the motor from operating unless a food processor container is properly secured to the motor base and a lid is properly secured to the food processor container.Type: GrantFiled: June 2, 2020Date of Patent: May 31, 2022Assignee: Capbran Holdings, LLCInventor: Robert Finnance

Publication number: 20210145210Abstract: A blender for processing comestible matter includes a base with a motor, a blade assembly, and a container. The blender further comprises a first safety mechanism and a second safety mechanism. The first safety mechanism functions to ensure that the container is securely attached to the blade assembly before the blade assembly can be mounted to the base. The second safety mechanism functions to ensure the motor in the base can only be powered on when the container and the blade assembly are securely mounted to the base. The blender is operable by affixing the container to the blade assembly, and then the assembly to the base, such that both safety mechanisms are released to permit the motor to be activated.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 22, 2021Publication date: May 20, 2021Applicant: Capbran Holdings, LLCInventor: Colin Sapire

Patent number: 11000159Abstract: A vibration damper system used in a food processor to reduce the vibration of a high power motor that has varying speed cycles is disclosed. The motor is suspended from a ceiling that is mounted to the motor base through a plurality of bolted joints. The bolted joints are surrounded by a grommet that has a unique shape. The grommet comprises generally three parts, which are an upper portion, a middle portion, and a lower portion. The middle portion is smaller than other portion so that it creates a recess for the ceiling to be sandwiched between the grommet. In a preferred embodiment, the lower portion of the grommet further comprises a plurality of petal members that provide a non-uniform spring rate to the grommet so that the grommet is adapted best to reduce the upward impulse of the motor. The food processor also contains a novel air ventilation system.Type: GrantFiled: October 11, 2018Date of Patent: May 11, 2021Assignee: Capbran Holdings, LLCInventor: Colin Sapire

Patent number: 10709281Abstract: A pressure cooker comprises a handle, a body, an outer lid being pivotally mounted on the body, an inner vessel with flange extending radially, an inner lid that is configured to cover the inner vessel, a rotatable rim protrusions that selectively engages with the flange of the inner vessel. The pressure cooker that utilizes a one-hand opening and locking mechanism that simultaneously locks the outer lid with the main body and locks the inner lid with the inner vessel. The locking of the outer lid is achieved by a clasp assembly, whose position is controlled by the handle. The locking of the outer lid is achieved by the pairing of the flange and the rim protrusions, whose position is also controlled by the handle. The pressure cooker also comprises a pressure rod that changes its level based on the pressure of the inner vessel.Type: GrantFiled: June 22, 2018Date of Patent: July 14, 2020Assignee: Capbran Holdings, LLCInventor: Colin Sapire
