    Abstract: An edging interface for a golf course bunker includes a strip of backing divided longitudinally into a first portion and a second portion. The strip of backing is also laterally divided into a plurality of adjacent sections by a plurality of cuts, where each adjacent section is joined together at the first portion, and artificial turf is secured to the first portion. The second portion of each section is configured to be anchored between the golf course bunker and a grass edge of the golf course. The edging interface can be rolled up for handling and shipping, and unrolled in place for installation. The artificial turf comprises straight and curly yarn and has a color to match natural turf stacked bunker edges. In addition, the first portion and the second portion longitudinally divide the strip of backing into substantially equal portions.

The system also includes a wash pipe coupled to the plurality of wash drains via a respective coupling and a plurality of wash boxes. Each of the wash boxes has a stub pipe passing therethrough and the stub pipe has an upper end and a lower end. The lower end of the stub pipe is configured to be coupled to the respective coupling. In addition, the tops of the plurality of wash boxes are adjusted to be positioned approximately at a same level as a top of the arena surface so that wash water flooding the arena surface is collected by the plurality of wash boxes and flushed out through the wash pipe.

The porous layer is configured to move water from the plurality of water distribution boards upwards to the sports field layer using capillary action to keep it damp. The sports field layer may be sand, dirt, clay, or a combination thereof. In addition, the system may include a water control basin in fluid communication with at least one water distribution board of the plurality of water distribution boards and configured to control the flow of water to the plurality of water distribution boards.

The pumping system periodically raises and lowers a height level of fluid between a predetermined minimum height level and a predetermined maximum height level in the first and second sub-systems.
