Abstract: A customizable and illuminated license plate frame, the frame includes a perimeter section having a receiving cavity for receiving a license plate of a vehicle; a second frame member pivotably connected with the perimeter section and having an opening and a plurality of fastening apertures arranged around the opening; a translucent panel detachably coupled on the opening of the second frame member and operable to press against the license plate; at least one hinge operational between the perimeter second and the second frame member; a plurality of tiles detachably attached on the fastening apertures of the second frame member; and a plurality of LED light arranged on the second frame member to illuminate the tiles and the license plate.
