Abstract: The invention relates to a packaging blank and container having an integral reclosable pour spout which provides enhanced seals, and promotes accurate placement of the pour spout during construction. The blank provides a pour spout assembly having a skewed fold line that facilitate folding operations and promotes accurate positioning of the pour spout, a detachable access tab that promotes sealing and provides tamper evidence, and a novel pour spout assembly that promotes directional and controlled pouring of articles. The invention further relates to a container formed from the blank.

Abstract: A container is provided with a main cavity partitioned into several compartments by dividing walls bridging the main cavity. The container and dividing walls are constructed by providing a single blank and forming the container out of the blank using folds and attachments. The compartments are adapted for holding and dispensing objects having different characteristics from each other, including different dimensions. Under the present invention, a single container allows for customized dispensing means for several types of items.

Abstract: A container is provided with a removable lid which allows for corner reinforcement structures to remain attached to the container after lid removal. According to one embodiment, the lid is removable via a combination of tear-away strips and reverse cuts. The container is preferably manufactured using a unitary blank and designed for easy construction and filling, convenient storage and display, and simple conversion into cooking and serving conformations.

Abstract: A container is provided with a simple opening and closure mechanism which provides for easy reclosure of the container. A user may grasp a reclosable flap and move the flap between open and closed positions to effect opening and closure of the container. The reclosable flap may overlay a container lid such that the container lid is kept in a closed position when the reclosable flap overlays the container lid with the reclosable flap in its closed position. The container may be open and closed several times, and a seal may be maintained in the vicinity of the reclosable flap even after multiple uses of the container.

Abstract: A container is provided for storing and dispensing objects in an easy-to-fill, easy-to-ship, and easy-to-use manner. The container is provided with a dispensing portion sized according to the size of the objects contained within the container such that the objects are dispensed only when desired. The dispensing portion is provided opposite an access opening allowing a user to use the dispensing portion in combination with the access opening to conveniently dispense the objects as required and further to prevent unintended dispensing of the contained items.

Abstract: A tray composed of a unitary, continuous blank has an inner surface and an outer surface. The tray comprises a bottom wall, a plurality of sidewalls extending upwardly from the bottom wall and a plurality of minor flaps. Each of the plurality of minor flaps is connected to one of the sidewalls via a fold line and has a respective outer edge. At least one of the minor flaps is connected to a sidewall via a first cut score. The first cut score extends upwardly from the bottom wall without extending to an outer edge of the minor flap. The at least one minor flap is separated from the sidewall via a knife cut. The knife cut extends from near the outer edge of the minor flap downward toward and near the first cut score. The at least one minor flap has a second cut score formed therein. The second cut score extends from near the separation means. The first and second cut scores are formed from opposing surfaces of the blank so as to form a partial web.
