Abstract: A power control device for controlling the power supplied to a device connected to it is connected wirelessly by a mesh network to a local controller and provides information on the power usage of the connected device remotely. The power control device can receive a function assignment remotely and will control the connected device according to that function.
Abstract: A system for monitoring and control of at least one appliance. The system comprises a computer server system and an electronic interface device installed remotely from the computer server system and in wireless communication with the computer server system. The interface device is configured to monitor power consumption of the at least one appliance and to control supply of power to the at least one appliance. The interface device is further configured to periodically transmit monitored power usage data to the computer server system, to receive at least one of data and commands from the computer server system and to control power to the at least one appliance based on the received at least one of data and commands.
