  • Patent number: 12254665
Abstract: A system to detect LEDs and their states in an AR context is provided having a monitored device having a plurality of LEDs; a computer receives a picture of the monitored device and LEDs; the computer processes said picture to determine a plurality of feature points; a database is in data communication with said computer that stores a plurality of reference images with reference feature points and reference zones; the computer matches at least some of the plurality of feature points with at least some of the plurality of reference feature points to compute a homography matrix; the computer transforms the picture into a transformed picture using the homography matrix; the computer processes zones of the transformed picture based on the reference zones to determine the state of each of the plurality of LEDs by comparing a value of the picture in the zone with a reference value.

  • Patent number: 12136200
Abstract: To replace text in a digital video image sequence, a system will process frames of the sequence to: define a region of interest (ROI) with original text in each of the frames; use the ROIs to select a reference frame from the sequence; select a target frame from the sequence; determine a transform function between the ROI of the reference frame and the ROI of the target frame; replace the original text in the ROI of the reference frame with replacement text to yield a modified reference frame ROI; and use the transform function to transform the modified reference frame ROI to a modified target frame ROI in which the original text is replaced with the replacement text. The system will then insert the modified target frame ROI into the target frame to produce a modified target frame. This process may repeat for other target frames of the sequence.

  • Patent number: 11935293
Abstract: A method for providing device support to a user using an augmented reality (AR) interface includes establishing, by a computer system, a real-time communication session streaming audio and video between (i) a local application executing on a local user device and (ii) a remote application executing a remote user device. The method further includes transmitting, via the real-time communication session, images depicting equipment captured by the local application. Annotations to the images are received from the remote application. Each annotation is anchored to user-selected positions on the equipment. The annotations are presented on the remote user device overlaid on the equipment at the user-selected positions. The real-time communication session is used to transmit audio or video instructional information related to the equipment and referencing the annotations. The computing system stores a new session record that includes the images, the annotations, and the audio or video instructional information.
