  • Patent number: 10997566
Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, and computer readable mediums for exercise behavior prediction are provided. In a particular embodiment, the prediction evaluation controller is configured to generate an exercise activity pattern based on correlations between scheduling of a user's historical non-exercise events and the user's historical exercise events. In the particular embodiment, the prediction evaluation controller is also configured to generate, based on the generated exercise activity pattern, by the prediction evaluation controller, a future exercise event to correspond with a future non-exercise event scheduled on the user's calendar. In the particular embodiment, the prediction evaluation controller is also configured to provide an indication of the generated future exercise event.

  • Patent number: 10959645
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to systems and methods of locating a patent within a facility. In one example, the system includes a beacon and a sensor. The beacon is positioned in a location of the facility. The beacon includes an infrared emitter and a processor. The processor is in communication with the infrared emitter. The processor is configured to instruct the infrared emitter to periodically emit an infrared emission. The processor modulates the infrared emission with a unique identification of the beacon that corresponds to the location of the beacon. The sensor is worn by the sensor wearer. The sensor includes an infrared receiver and a processor. The processor is in communication with the infrared received. The infrared receiver is configured to demodulate the received infrared emission to identify the unique identification of the beacon.

  • Patent number: 10799173
Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, and computer readable mediums for fall prediction assessment are provided. In a particular embodiment, a fall prediction controller is configured to compare a hydration indicator associated with a person to a hydration threshold and based on a result of the comparison of the hydration indicator to the hydration threshold, generate a fall prediction assessment of the patient.

  • Patent number: 10743811
Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, and computer readable mediums for fall prediction assessment are provided. In a particular embodiment, a fall prediction profile generator is configured to identify, based on health status data associated with a patient, a hydration threshold for the patient. The fall prediction profile generator is also configured to store the identified hydration threshold as part of a hydration profile associated with the patient and provide the hydration profile to a fall prediction controller to generate a fall prediction assessment of the patient based on the hydration profile and a current hydration indicator associated with the patient.

  • Patent number: 10516213
Abstract: In a particular embodiment of the present disclosure, a coplanar antenna includes a conductive plane having a first dimension and a second dimension, wherein the length of the conductive plane along the first dimension is less than one-quarter of a wavelength of a resonant frequency; an insulating region disposed within the conductive plane, wherein the insulating region is of a shape that outlines a conductive peninsula, wherein: the conductive peninsula is coupled to the conductive plane; the conductive peninsula is substantially coplanar to a major portion of the conductive plane; the conductive peninsula is electrically coupled to an electric feed circuit such that an impedance associated with the conductive peninsula when electrically coupled substantially matches a signal impedance at the electrical feed circuit; and the conductive peninsula is operable to resonate at the resonant frequency after receiving a current from the electric feed circuit.
