  • Patent number: 11103205
Abstract: A method of operating a mobile fluoroscopic imaging system includes positioning an x-ray source and a DR detector about a patient. Data defining a spatial configuration of the x-ray source and the collimator is stored in the system. The system is configured to determine a source-to-image distance of the x-ray source and the DR detector including by activating the x-ray source and capturing a scout image in the DR detector. Dimensions of the scout image are calculated and the source-to-image distance is determined based on the data defining the spatial configuration of the x-ray source and the collimator and on the dimensions of the scout image.

  • Patent number: 11083427
Abstract: A mobile radiography system includes a wheeled transport frame and a telescoping vertical column mounted on the transport frame. The vertical column includes a stationary base section and a vertically movable upper section coupled to the base section. A cap is positioned in a nest at the top of the movable upper section whereby a counterweight in the movable upper section displaces the cap when the counterweight is extended through the nest and replaces the cap in the nest when the counterweight is retracted into the movable upper section. A padded section of the nest and the counterweight prevents impact noise when the cap contacts the nest or the counterweight. Magnets are used to hold the cap and the nest together in alignment when they are adjacent.

  • Patent number: 11010960
Abstract: A method for rendering volume radiographic image content of a subject forms a volume image. The method extracts a first image slice from the volume image, then modifies the extracted first image slice by defining two or more spatial frequency bands from the image slice data and applying one or more viewer adjustments to the image slice data, wherein the one or more viewer adjustments condition the image data to enhance image content in at least one of the defined spatial frequency bands. A set of display rendering parameters is generated according to the two or more frequency bands and according to viewer adjustments made for the first image slice. A second image slice is extracted from the volume image. The generated set of display rendering parameters is applied to the second image slice to render an adjusted image slice and the adjusted image slice is displayed.
