Abstract: An electronic system may include communications devices and an electronic promotional offer server that includes a promotional offer memory to store promotional offers and a promotional offer processor to send a listing of promotional offers to the communications devices based upon the promotional offers. Each communications device may include a portable housing and a controller coupled to communications circuitry, an input device, and a display. The controller may be configured to display the listing of promotional offers on the display, cooperate with the input device to permit user selection of promotional offers from the listing thereof, and transmit the selected promotional offers to the electronic promotional offer server. The promotional offer processor may determine if the selected promotional offer is currently unavailable, and, when so, send a consolation promotional offer to the communications device.

Abstract: Web page data is generated for rendering coupons, for a currency of value available to a user for increasing a value of the coupons and for one or more activities that can be used to increase the currency of value. When at least one of the activities has been completed by the user, the currency of value is increased by an amount specified by the activity that has been completed. A selection is received of a coupon whose value is to be increased. Additional web page data is generated to including dollar amounts to which the coupon may be increased. When the user selects one of the dollar amounts, a number of the currency of value is determined corresponding to the selected dollar amount. The value of the coupon is increased by the selected dollar amount. The currency of value available to the user are decreased by the number of the currency of value corresponding to the dollar amount.

Abstract: A processing server may receive transaction data from one or more point of sale (POS) terminals in near real-time. Transaction data received from each of the POS terminals may be in a format that is specific to the POS terminal. Upon receiving the transaction data having the POS specific format, the processing server may convert the transaction data to a common format that is compatible with the operations of the processing server. Further, the processing server may index the converted transaction data into one or more categories. Responsive to indexing, the processing server may generate aggregate data from the indexed transaction data. Further, the processing server may receive a request for a data report associated with the aggregate data. Responsive to receiving the request, the processing server may generate the data report, format the data report to match a user preference, and transmit the data report for presentation.

Abstract: A computer-based system, method and computer program product for controlling access to protected personal information is disclosed. Protected personal information that is accessible by an information management application program is stored in a computer memory. In response to a request from an authenticated user for information, which includes protected personal information, information is displayed indicating that user has requested protected personal information, but the protected personal information is not displayed. In response to receiving user input requesting access to the protected personal information, a determination is made as to whether the user is authorized to access the requested protected personal information. If so, requested protected personal information is displayed to the user and information is stored relating to the user's access to protected personal information.
