Abstract: A recommendation system for mobile device content comprising: a recommendation server enabled to communicate with a wireless mobile device of a recipient user, the server being configured for receiving from a recommendation source a recommendation request message including information identifying recommended content and a recipient user, determining based on predetermined criteria if a recommendation is permitted and if so, causing a recipient recommendation message including information identifying the recommended content to be sent to the recipient user's mobile device.
