Abstract: An adjustable multipurpose adult mobility device is herein disclosed which includes improvements over prior art including ride cushioning, improved braking and includes a movable frame adapted for use by a person to assist in ambulatory movement, and a canopy that is positioned substantially above and carried by the movable frame. A flexible shield extends downwardly from the front portion of the canopy to at least partially cover a front portion of the movable frame. Such coverage effectively protects a passenger from the environment or potential inclement weather.
