The case generally comprises a frame, configured to surround the outer periphery of the electronic device, coupled to a back panel, configured to cover the back of the electronic device. The frame generally includes a plurality of outer sidewalls surrounding a center cutout. The back panel is formed from a hard plastic material such as polycarbonate. In example embodiments, the back panel material is a clear, transparent material. In other embodiments, the back panel material is a tinted or translucent material. The frame is generally overmolded onto the front or interior surface of the back panel.

The illumination device may also be integrally connected to the computing device. A light cover is implemented to cover the light source and diffuse light emanating therefrom.
