Abstract: In order to solve the problem of providing an improved hob assembly which can be integrated into kitchen furniture of any type in a particularly easy manner, a hob assembly is proposed which includes at least one cooking zone, at least one air-purifier device arranged beneath the cooking zone, and at least one connecting element for connecting the cooking zone to the air-purifier device such that air can be conducted from the cooking zone to the air-purifier device via the connecting element, wherein the connecting element is arranged on the cooking zone in a mechanically removable manner and is height-adjustably mounted in the air-purifying device.
