  • Patent number: 9056524
Abstract: A caster wheel assembly includes at least one hub that has an annularly dished concave region disposed between a pair of cylindrical lips about its outer periphery. An elastomeric tread has a convex inner periphery that seats in the concave region of the hub. The interface between the hub and tread is parabolic in cross-section to manage load-inducted stresses in the tread. The parabolic cross-section is defined by the equation y=A*x2, where A is between 1.5 and 4. A cylindrical lip/pad interface is established between hub and tread on opposite sides of the parabolic interface to accommodate high load situations. A bearing is supported in the hub, and a bushing inside the bearing. An axle shaft passing through the bushing attaches the hub and tread to a support bracket for use in a wide variety of industrial applications.

  • Publication number: 20140085904
Abstract: The invention discloses an LED light fixture, which comprises a lamp body and a lamp handle connected therewith, wherein the lamp body adopts an AC (Alternating Current) LED as a light source. As the LED light fixture does not need a power supply, the light fixture has the advantages of being small, having a simple structure and saving materials; as a plurality of small planes are used for forming a complete multi-stage sagittal reflecting surface, the light fixture has higher reflection efficiency; as a gland strip and a shielding mechanism are adopted, the reverse side of the product has a complete structure and is lightproof; as non-through screwed connection holes are formed at positions of the lamp body, at which the lamp body is connected with the lamp handle, the light fixture has superior sealability and watertightness.

  • Patent number: 8117715
Abstract: A caster includes a base carrying a rotation shaft and forming a pivotal joint seat. Wheels are rotatably mounted to the rotation shaft. Each wheel has an inside surface that is recessed to form an inner rim. A brake arm has a first end rotatably coupled to the pivotal joint seat and a second end forming a brake pawl extending into the inner rims of the wheels. A spring is arranged between the brake arm and the base so that the spring normally biases the brake pawl to depress against the inner rims of the wheels to brake the wheels. A release knob is rotatably mounted to the base and forms a cam section positionable against the brake arm. The cam section, when rotated by the release knob, drives the brake arm backward to release the brake pawl from the wheels, allowing the wheels to freely rotate.
