Abstract: A cabin module for a commercial aircraft includes a set of bulkheads defining a quadrant with an inboard wall and converging side walls. The module is sub-divided by a removable partition which splits the module into two passenger compartments. The quadrant shape of the module enables it to overlap an adjacent seat area, thereby using space between seat areas that is otherwise underutilised. In a particular form the modules define a single central aisle which transitions from a pair of parallel aisles aft via a Y-shaped transition region.

Abstract: A method and a locking assembly for locking a cargo net to a pallet for preventing access to cargo during transportation is disclosed. One example embodiment provides a locking assembly with an anchor, a retaining ring and a cable tie. The anchor includes a base member, a bolt, and a spring. The retaining ring locks to both the cargo net and the base member. The cable tie locks the bolt and the base member together and prevents the bolt from moving from the base member. Such that the anchor is prevented from being removed from the pallet without destroying the anchor or the pallet.

In an embodiment, the system comprises a security net adapted for covering the cargo, the net comprising a panel with a periphery. The panel is made from a net with holes of sufficiently small size to prevent objects from readily being inserted therethrough without causing a tear thereto. The periphery contains a plurality of openings. The system also comprises a plurality of security locks adapted for locking onto a pallet beneath the cargo and coupling onto one of the plurality of openings. Each security lock has a first identifier for identifying whether the plurality of security locks belong to a predetermined set.
