Abstract: A bracket for connecting a first extruded member having spaced and generally parallel extrusion fins to a second member. The bracket comprising a base plate, a longitudinal wedge element configured to be inserted in between the extrusion fins, an extrusion fin receiving channel to receive a first extrusion fin of the first extruded member, fastener receiving apertures through the base plate to receive a fastener to rigidly couple the bracket to the first extruded member, and a deformation cavity adjacent the fastener receiving aperture configured to receive a deformed extrusion portion of the first extrusion fin. The fastener receiving aperture is located on the base plate such that the deformed extrusion portion is forced into the deformation cavity and at least partially out of the extrusion fin receiving channel to form a rigid connection in a deformed condition when a fastener is located in the fastener receiving aperture.

Abstract: A sliding door handle and strike assembly includes a locking member for engaging the strike to prevent the door from opening. The locking member is biased to an unlocked position, until it is moved into a locking position, in which magnetic co-operation acts to hold the locking member in the locking position.
Abstract: A latch arrangement for a sliding wing has a latching member that is movable by magnetic force from first position in which it is at least partially retracted within a latch housing, to a second position in which it extends at least partially out of the housing, to be received in a strike. The strike comprises a magnet or ferromagnetic arrangement to attract the latching member into a receiving and engaging formation of the strike when the sliding wing is located at or adjacent the strike.

Abstract: A damping assembly for a door, and particularly for use in a pocket door that slides along a track arrangement into an enclosed pocket. The damping assembly catches the door and moves it fully open or fully closed in a gentle manner as it reaches the ends of the track arrangement. The damping assembly can be conveniently removed from the track arrangement for maintenance.
